We are starting to prepare for our Annual Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Drive! Please join us in gathering items to spread the Gospel, joy and love to all the kids that will receive them! Pastor Kyle has broken down what we will be collecting…every other week will be a different topic!

jacks & ball, frisbees, jump rope, puzzles, pick-up-sticks marbles, tops, yo-yos, play dough, clay, whistles, horns plastic animals, uniformed characters (without weapons) slinkies, foam pads & figures, stickers, balls & paddles If inflatable balls, like soccer, include a pump.

CLOTHES
ball caps, stocking caps (favorites, even in hot climates) shirts (bright cotton, tees, sweat; panties, briefs, sox) shoes (jellies, flip-flops)
gloves (work-type for older boys), kerchiefs
simple dresses & shirts

USEFUL
school bags, cloth bags, plastic bags, garbage or zip-lock flashlights with extra batteries
sewing kits, safety pins, rubber bands, candles
tools, hammer, pliers, screw drivers (especially for older boys) string, rope and clotheslines

HYGIENE
bar soap in a ziploc bag, wash cloth, small towel tooth brush, holder, floss, chap stick; no toothpaste! deodorant (solid),
combs, brushes
wipes, kleenex packets
spoons, straws, covered cups, bowls, storage containers

Suggestions: TRY TO FILL 2 REGULAR-SIZE BOXES IN PLACE OF 1 EXTRA LARGE BOX: Help reach the 2022 goal of 11.75 million shoeboxes! (Up from 10.5 million received in 2021)

Plastic shoe boxes last longer and have many subsequent uses
Line box with useful item such as plastic bag, scarf, or hand towel

EVERY BOX GOES THROUGH TWO INSPECTIONS: FIRST FOR MONEY, SECONDLY FOR INAPPROPRIATE ITEMS. PLEASE REMEMBER THAT ANY FORM OF CURRENCY IS NEVER ALLOWED AS PART OF YOUR SHOEBOX GIFTS, BUT IS OK FOR SHIPPING COSTS.
